Just did a very simple A/B comparison. The result seemed to support the myth about a7RII has less “field curvature” problem than previous a7 series, which should make no sense unless SONY did thin the glass in front of the senser.
It’s just a single quick test so it can be inaccurate. If have time I’ll repeat it in different scenes.
The lens in this test is a Zeiss C Biogon T* 4.5/21 ZM. Distance is 1m.
